Cosette is a woman about whom not much is known.
She is a voracious researcher of all things occult or taboo who travels constantly for her protection, as many cities with dark secrets do not look kindly on those who unearth them. When she discovered that Yharnam, the most recent location she had visited in search of leads, looked to be absolutely teeming with strange happenings and glimpses into the cosmos, she had found herself more than pleasantly surprised.
She had barely had time to look around the city when she realized she was almost having fun. when she was not being accosted by beasts or other poor souls who had gone mad, the sights that the land had could be quite beautiful to behold and the locals that were about (or atleast, the ones who weren't trying to send her to an early grave.) she found charming. She therefore gladly assumed the role of a hunter, which she had impulsively signed herself into. When the long night felt it was finally coming to an end she was overjoyed to find that she had found all she was hoping to and more in this odd town, though, perhaps she should air more caution when attempting to gain the eyes she would need to understand the Great Ones from these odd cords...?

Item 1
Weapon wielded by the Knights of Cainhurst.
Combines an elegant knight's sword with the peculiar
firearm wielded by the Cainhurst order.
The old nobles, long-time imbibers of blood, are no strangers
to the sanguine plague,and the disposal of beasts was a
discrete task left to their servants, or knights, as they were
called for the sake of appearances.
- This particular trick weapon transforms between a rapier and gun with bayonet attachment (which is technically the same blade as the rapier).
- "Reiterpallasch" means "rider's broadsword" in German.
- The cup-hilt has a slit that accommodates the blade when it's pistol mode is engaged, and rests it over the hand guard.
Item 2
Remnant of the eldritch Truth encountered at Byrgenwerth.
Use phantasms, the invertebrates known to be augurs of the Great Ones, to partially summon abandoned Ebrietas.
The initial encounter marked the start of an inquiry into the cosmos from within the old labyrinth, and led to the establishment of the Choir.
- The primary use of this spell is to knock down enemies, and it can be used to interrupt or stagger in the same manner as gunshots and charged attacks, respectively. You can use it to knock enemies into environmental hazards, like fires or pools of poison, or you can use it to let a co-op partner position themselves behind the enemy
- It's possible that the Augur is what the Empty Phantasm Shell originally belonged to
- Its range is roughly half of that of a pistol shot. Its projectile speed is the same as well, although the multiple tentacles makes it slightly more difficult to dodge.

This atypical weapon can only be clasped tight and swung, but a Kos Parasite is said to stimulate phantasms inhabiting a lumenwood"
- Transforms from right-hand tentacle to dual-wield tentacles.
- To use this weapon you must have the Milkweed Rune on (it is obtained by Saint Adeline, the woman in the chair asking for Brain Fluid in the Research Hall - the room to the right of the lamp). You give her 3 Brain Fluid and she will give you the rune.
- The Kos Parasite bears a close resemblance to the "Portuguese man o'war".
