Constantine

• He can be drawn with massive golden wings. He hides them to appear more 'normal'.
• Compared to the other archangels, he's not very powerful in a blatant fight. His magic prowess is a bit lacking for offense, so he takes on a more supporting or defensive role.

Constantine is a stoic, well spoken man. He come across as cold and manipulative in that 'business first'- way, but he does have a warm side and genuinely wants the best for people in his own right. He's incredibly intelligent, though a bit passive, and he prefers to observe and study instead of directly involving himself. While he does forget contracts with people in order to protect their souls from demonkind, he always puts their needs first and earns their trust by being true friends to them. Likewise, he has many contacts and he's incredibly loyal. If you earn his favor, he'll certainly be by your side whenever you ask.

He doesn't laugh often, and his smiles are small but earnest. He makes a point of never lying- rather, skewing the truth or simply remaining silent to let people make their own assumptions and point them where he desires them to go.

He is known to give a good scolding from time to time if you annoy him, not unlike a disappointed father, and occasionally can be a bit brunt or too honest for his own good.

During his original lifetime as a human, Constantine was a skilled private investigator who worked to find missing people, solve cold cases, and bring to justice those that the 'proper' justice system simply weren't addressing. He was known as excellent in his field...until his untimely death at the hands of some slighted criminals who decided to get rid of him. Death however, never stopped him. Instead, he became an angel serving under the goddess of Knowledge, and took up studying the laws of magic, magical contracts, and binding spells instead. As the second era emerged and new primary gods emerged, Constantine swore his new loyalty to the goddess of fury. She had reached out to him to expend his knowledge and efforts- and his quick wit, to employ him against rising demon populations threatening to darken the world. He gladly accepted- happy to put his skills to use genuinely helping people again. 

He saw demons making contracts for people's souls and decided to do the opposite. Demons, predictably: hate him. He's better at contracts than any crossroad demon and you can bet he'll spin you in faux-magic legal circles before you knew what hit you.

His skills soon led him to become the first appointed Archangel of the Second Era, appointed by the goddess, who found his use of psychology and lawful rationales very brutally effective. Many were concerned about this position, given he doesn't seem to be all too powerful in magical or weaponry prowess. Naturally, He promptly proved her choice right by becoming a force to be reckoned with in strategy and verbal combat instead, and became one of the most hated angels among demonkind simply because he has a knack for making you eat your words and pulling the strings of those around him to get his way.
