Hyemi is soft-spoken and gentle, as in accordance to her flower. Though she accepts her position as the figurehead for her race, she struggles with taking the role of leadership. Her primary goal is to expand her sense of the world and other's experiences; she seeks to define her sense of empathy. Due to her sheltered childhood and passive nature, she does not fare well in conflict. She hopes to become a more outspoken and elegant person.

Backstory

Bluemies are, by nature, a nomadic race. With a limited number of potential spawning locations spread over the globe, the chances of a cohesive empire are scarce. However, there are few who aspire to unite the species together, and to grow their own kingdom. These stances have schismed the Bluemies among each other; while some believe that there should be one domain under which a few would sovereign over the many, others fiercely value the wild freedom and independence that relies on this lack of structure. The radicals of each side have clashed time and time again over this debate.

Hyemi was a rarity from her birth, being a biological spawn of two Bluemies (a very atypical case, due to the general lack of partnership between most Bluemies). Her mother was an elite White Diamond Rose, her father a simple Pink Pearl Carnation. Due to her powerful abilities and esteemed nature, Hyemi's mother was chosen as the figurehead for the aspired Bluemie regime; to one day become Queen, and unite her kingdom across the world. Hyemi's childhood years were filled with relative opulence, as she was prepared to one day be a future leader herself.

However, this was not meant to be. In the dead of the night, almost the entirety of the potential Bluemie capital was massacred in a fiery blaze by radical dissenters against the regime. Along with a scarce few, Hyemi managed to escape; however, her parents did not.

Of the survivors, some urged to redouble efforts on unification, this time promoting Hyemi as the figurehead for their cause. Others refused to continue, not willing to risk their lives further. Hyemi, in turn, left on her own; promising to one day return.

As she travels, she aims to fully understand the dimensions of the situation she finds herself in; to truly understand both sides of the debate. She questions her own skills as a leader, and is uncertain of her faith in establishing a Bluemie domain. While perhaps not a Queen, she does believe that it should be possible for a reliable network between her people to be established.

• She has the power of light, though it manifests as primarily cosmetic as opposed to offensive.
• The rose that is in her staff alternates between being ubloomed and fully bloomed, and routinley sheds its petals.
• She loves music and people who can sing, though she has no musical talent herself. She has much respect for those who can master that craft,and wishes to fill her court with musicians (like her mother).
• Her currrent outfit is based on her mother's. Honestly, she gets a bit embarrassed with how revealing it is.
• Her wings (made from rose petals) can be willingly summoned. In a leisure state, they curl into two small rosebuds on her back.
