Ariel Light

Ariel was born a bastard, an affair child between Damien Malacoda and Autumn Light. She was raised alone by her single mother and was supplied money by Damien to keep it secert as he was married. Throughout her entire life, Ariel felt disguarded and alone, even when Autumn birthed her sister, Darlene Light, with another man, who stayed around to raise her.

She knew her real father had left her from when she was a baby, her mother never tried to keep it a secert, so the feeling of emptiness never left her as she always knew. She grew up normally, but was distant with her family members, keeping to herself. somewhere in her late teens, her mother revealed that her biological father was regularly giving them money, revealing why they were so wealthy.

This information created an urge to reach out to her father. She conviced her mother to name drop him and decided to start small, to make contact with her step sister, Lucia Malacoda, through social media. The two managed to hit it off, she learnt about the Malacoda family and what type of person her father was. Lucia told Ariel that he was a family man and would do anything for his loved ones. But this isnt what he was when Ariel finally met him.

Damien dismissed her longing for meeting her father and hated her for making contact with him. He was embarrassed by her presence. Defeated and depressed, Ariel was left in a dark place but Lucia had an idea. Lucia preformed a blood transfusion on unconscious Ariel without her consent, leaving Ariel to be shakened and distrubed upon waking up. She believed that Ariel would be accepted by the family if they were truely one of them. The transfomation was painful and only made Ariels depression worse, learning about what Lucia did and what vampires were killed her spirit but also her trust in Lucia. She was terrified to learn that she had to harm humans to survive.

She refused to complete her transformation by drinking blood, even if it meant her fathers approval. So for her last few days before failing to become a complete vampire, Ariel fled, ran from lucia, ran from her family, ran from herself. She wasnt going to accept this change.

She wondered the streets of Mahtog, one step away from a frenzy. Unable to control herself, she set her sights on someone in an alleyway, knocking them unconscious and finally feeding. Ariel was filled with guilt, sadness and despair, she chose to end her life, using the small revolver she stole from her step father, Ariel shot herself next to the person she fed on.
