Zara is close best friends with Dixy. She isn't into drag like he is, but they're both very artsy people. Zara's into street fashion and has an infatuation with many Splatoon idols. She aspires to be like them, but admittedly doesn't have the expertise for it. Something Zara does have expertise in however, would be battles. She prides herself in being able to stay fashionable while simultaneously winning in turf and rank. She hopes that her talent can eventually get recognition, but she hasn't quite hit that point yet.
Trivia:
-Name is loosely based off of the great 'Zapfish'. Her last name was also inspired by Malapteruridae, aka electric catfish.
