Nightjar's Wing
Overview
Nightjar's Wing is a giant Maine Coon cat. At a very young age, he decided that he was born the wrong sex. He fought and lectured unlawful tomcats and never lost. His father's trust and praise filled the void left by his inferiority complex, and he grew into a formidable warrior, physically strong, and the most reliable frontier guard.
He is a very straightforward cat, reserved and well-mannered, and his lack of contact with female cats makes him overly nervous about talking to them, he always afraid that his huge size would frighten others. He is loyal to Spotted Dove and is a hardworking and serious subordinate.

Demeanor
He likes to grind on a lightning-struck cedar tree, which makes him smell of burnt bark, which some cats can't stand. He is not good at grooming his fur, and often messes up, which attracts the dislike and scolding of Fox's Spell, but Fox will always help him comb his fur.
His tongue is clumsy, especially when facing the female cat, he is nervous and overwhelmed and stutters. He can be a well-mannered diplomat, or he can be outspoken when he's with a tomcat.
When he felt the intense, almost breathless love, his body seemed to be struck by a bolt of lightning, and he appeared stiff and overwhelmed. But after he got used to it, his strength and aggression were revealed.

Nightjar's Wing was born in the corner of the Breathless Ruins. His mother, a loner named Mercurius, loves freedom and prefers not to be tied down by her kittens. Weaned from his brother Kingfisher's Crown, Mercurius quickly left the ruins to continue her travels.
Nightjar and Kingfisher were raised under the care of their father, Lynx's Wheeze. Their father was a born military strategist. After discovering Nightjar's extraordinary courage and ambition, he actively trained Nightjar to be an elite fighter and gave him the nickname Nighthawk.
Mercurius returns regularly during bald season, and always gets into a fight with Nightjar, much to the Kingfisher's Crown's headache.

At six months old, he became a cadet at Lynx's Wheeze, learning formal strategy and command. He is also very interested in exploring those unknown ruins, and was listed as a member of the searchers. During a search operation, he came across Fox's Spell. They had a fight, and they were evenly matched, Nightjar felt unbelievable and unconvinced. He made an appointment with Fox to fight again, and Fox readily agreed, because she had never met an opponent of comparable strength.
Their relationship grows closer and more intense, and then transcends friendship, with both clearly feeling a powerful connection and an unbreakable bond. But at this point, Spotted Dove discovered that Fox was a member of South Castle and forcibly expelled her. In order to protect the safety of the northern town, Nightjar had to compromise. Fortunately, Ribbit understands his son's worries at any time, and he deliberately walks away during each patrol, giving Nightjar a chance to sneak out to find Fox.

Their personalities are very similar. They are belligerent and like to act. When they meet again, they always stage a life-and-death fight, which makes the atmosphere in the entire Olive Union tense. Then they will stop and suddenly smile and embrace each other, leaving the onlookers confused.
