Blue Topaz (ブルブルートパズ Buru-topazu) also called Blue or Blue-to is a hardworking and strategic Gem when patrolling and fighting. However, they break easily and care for they're close ones to the point that they'd go to the Moon just to save them... They are nearly as old as Yellow Diamond and the other Gems respect and think highly of them.

- Has two siblings, Purple Topaz and Topaz.
- Sometimes works with Jade and Euclase with strategies.
- Partners with Opali.
- Blue topaz is the most popular colour of topaz.
- Although they have a hardness of 8 they have perfect cleavage meaning they break easily when hit at the right angle.

"Let me work alone Sensei! I promise I'll be good!"
For most of what Blue Topaz can remember, they had patrolled by themselves for most of they're life. Even though they're always longing for a partner, they took the courage to ask Sensei to patrol solo. They have also tried to persuade Sensei in letting them night patrol with Cinnabar but got declined immediately because of Cinnabar's mercury. Blue Topaz was one of the first gems to go on the Moon but left and stayed back on Earth after the disaster of Rutile shattering. This caused them to realise that going to the Moon wouldn't save the Gems but ruin they're perfect and happy lives.
"Always remember that you're loved and cared by everyone here even if they don't seem to like you Opali."
When Blue Topaz met Opalite in a morning assembly, Blue Topaz immediately felt a rush of happiness. Finally! A new Gem! From time to time, many gems (including Purple Topaz) had requested and tried to persuade Blue-to to be they're partner only to end up being declined. Opalite, being the complete mess they are, was a new patroller who had just finished they're mini schooling with Kongo Sensei, was new to this patrolling thing. They obviously needed a partner. To all the Gems (including Opali + Sensei) surprise, Blue-to offered to be Opali's partner. Excited to have such a wise partner, Opali agreed. They've been inseperable ever since.
"The memories we created on Earth still lingers within me..."
At first Blue-to was reluctant to join the other Gems on the Moon, they hid with Opali (for safety) from the fight Phos had created watching all they're friends betraying each other and shattering. Watching them break hurt Blue-to more than ever. When Phos went to find Sensei, Blue Topaz finally took the courage to step up to the Moon People collecting the other Gem's broken peices. And so Blue Topaz stepped out of their hiding spot with Opali and whispered"Please, if it just means I can stay with my friends, take me and Opali away unshattered." Now, they reside on the Moon (as a Lunarian/Moon Person), the constantly long to go back onto Earth to live they're life as a Gem again.
- Blue Topaz is as old as Yellow Diamond.
- Patrols by themselves. requested to Kongo Sensei and was approved. Declines other Gem's request to partner up with them.
- Partnered up with Opali for some reason afterwards.
- Was one of the first Gems to go onto the moon unshattered but then went back to living on Earth. Now resides on the Moon as a Lunarian
Treats Diamond like a sister even though they're not from the same Gem family. A close and dear friend to Blue-to

Opalite Most dearest and closest friend to Blue Topaz. Opali is very clumsy and once nearly melted in water... Thank the Gems for Rutile noticing before they completely melted away.
Accident prone. Reckless too...
Purple Topaz Sibling. The one thing that Blue-to hates about Purple is that they ALWAYS try to be like the best...
