Rindea was born in Sui-no-Sato, deep under The Ruby Sea in Othard. She is related to the Ruby Princess, who is a monarchal figure who serves as ruler of Sui-no-Sato, the Raen settlement found beneath the waves of The Ruby Sea. It was noticed early on that Rindea had something odd with her powers, and the Raen community tend to be afraid of anything unusual so they were very suspicious of her and weren't very kind towards her.

When she was around 13 years old she was kind of banished to figure out what's going on with her powers. She found her way to Eorzea, but on her way there, there was a ship crash and she hurt herself during it and lost most of her memory, so she forgot all about that. She washed up on the shoreline of Black Shroud and the Elder Seedseer of Gridania found her and took her under her wings, making Rindea her apprentice and she also kind of became Rindea's mother figure. This is how she became a White Mage.

Rindea eventually started hearing noises, the call of Hydaelyn. At first it was just now and then but later on more and more often and she was honestly thinking of becoming crazy. She told the Elder Seedseer about this and she was directed to the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, a secret society devoted to serving the realm.

She then went to meet the Scions, and eventually joined them and she started to see them as her found family. They teached Rindea about the Echo, the blessing of Hydaelyn that was gifted upon her and Rindea starts working for the Scions, slaying primals and overall helping people and gaining fame for her deeds a bit by bit, though unintentionally. She meets and befriends many people during her adventures.

Rindea experiences many many hardships during her adventures, including loss of many loved ones, being exiled, traveling to another world to save it from destruction, becoming corrupted and almost dying multiple times, pushing herself to her absolute limits, seeing her friends sacrifice themselves for her over and over again and literally averting an apocalypse and killing a personification of literal despair that was the whole cause of the apocalypse, or Final Days as they were properly called, also almost dying in the process.

After all that when it became peaceful again, she is back in Gridania and lives there, but occasionally goes adventuring to learn even more about the world.
