Personality: 

Yoko is not what someone would think when they hear the name "Malachi Rosewalde" as he is not as elegant as his name might make someone believe, and he is very...original. Yoko also kind of just likes to people watch. He'll hide his eyes behind shades and people watch not really caring if people notice what he is doing or not. He also just chooses not to talk to some people, and when he does it isn't some normal talk since he isn't really normal, and will be like "Did you know that most of the time you think a bond is formed with your animal, but if you were to die in your house your cat or dog would eat your body so that it could survive." He really does not give a hoot about what people will think about him. He is sort of...creepy as one would put it. Oddly enough, with how weird he is and the fact he doesn't care about too much, he has a great deal of respect for men and women in uniform (as well as his colleagues) and will never talk back to them even if some of them may not have any respect for him. 

Yoko also has this really strange fascination with death. He does not wish to die and even fears his own demise, but he really likes the idea of it and what exactly happens to a person's body when they do pass away. It also does not help that he is able to see, speak to, and be touched by the dead so he gets to know a lot about what he is almost...obsessed with. He will also try to make other people interested in his obsession as well, so if he is checking a body he will of course try and make his colleagues, or even one of the detectives or officers coming to ask him questions about how so the person he is inspecting died, touch the body and will tell them about his strange liking.

Background:

• His mother died during childbirth, and his father ended up passing away when he was a couple months old leaving him in the system when he was only a couple months old.
• His adoptive mother was barely in his life, and his adoptive father seemed to have a hatred for him and would often abuse him. Yoko ended up having a deep resentment towards the man.
• When he was about six he was left alone and decided to go into a park, that is where he found the corpse of a woman and could see her ghost. He sat with the woman's body and her ghost talking to her until it was late and he had to go back home. The ghost woman, who he learned was named Yoko, followed him.
• He asked if he could share the name Yoko with the ghost, and she agreed.
• The only real memory he has of his adoptive father is when, as punishment, he was forced to stand outside in the middle of a heat wave and only after he almost passed out was he allowed back inside. 
• His adoptive mother and father both died when he was in his early preteen years, and he does not miss them.
• He ended up getting raised by the female ghost Yoko from when they first met to now.
• He began being able to see ghosts other than Yoko when he was about ten years old. Most scared him, but when he got to learn of how they died he began to be less scared of them.
