they escaped the abyss and found a couple other vessels, they naturally developed a sort of sign language. it has evolved with them as they all developed more distinct segments, hands, and fingers, and is not a complete language, but is continuously growing.

nock, while exploring one day, saw a painting of a bug using a bow. it decided it wanted to use one too, and fashioned a very primitive and rickety bow, using just sharpened sticks as arrows. as they aged, they got better and better at making and using bows, but still never learned proper archery form. a lot of things it does damages the bow or is just inefficient, but it's slowly figuring these things out.

its charm is called sharpshooter, and it basically functions like aimbot. the charm will correct any ranged weapons' paths to home in onto whatever the wearer meant to hit. it only corrects direction however, so nock had to learn to shoot with strength.
