August is a grumpy, sad boy who just wants to work hard so he help his mum.
He was a park ranger but was fired for avoiding visitors (he was really good at the actual 
job other then that though). He has some serious problems talking with people and prefers to
be by himself, with his mum or now, with Bruce. 

His village voted him to be the representative to host
a monster for life. While this is a high paying job that's very easy (just look after your
monster and spread a good image of them) and has high community standing attracted, it can
also be dangerous to host monsters. It's most likely he was voted for this because no one 
liked him or remembered he existed. 

He met Bruce shortly after and quickly found out from the burst of colours they could now see and
the slight burn of the newly formed mark on both their paws, that they were soulmates
Bruce is a giant, fluffy, hyena monster who loves to bake, go on long walks or drives and look at nature.

Their house has been set up in the mountainous forest close to town but still a 30 minute drive though forest.

Likes: Quite time, Bruce, crystals, reading, rain, his caravan, nature, food

Dislikes: Crowds, prolonged interaction with strangers, Spicy food, sunburn, too much sun
