Clue is a bit of a mystery. Here one second, gone the next, always smiling with that unnerving mask... People tend to find him intimidating or "creepy" for these reasons, paired with his tall stature and his tendency to cause problems. In actuality, though, they are... Exactly as described. An agent of chaos who enjoys scaring or getting a rise out of people.

Clue has the ability to distort his body and can twist it in some... Very concerning ways. Doing so causes him no pain, and he mostly uses it to scare the shit out of anyone unfortunate enough to meet him in the middle of the night, or to make himself taller than he really is. He's also able to shapeshift into various other forms, including taking on the identities of other people; but there's always a tell when they do this: Their unnerving smile. Even while taking on the form of another, they never stop smiling. He rarely uses his abilities to this extent, though; being without a mask (even though it's not their face on display) makes him feel too exposed and uncomfortable to use for long. He also has the ability to teleport short distances, often using this to startle people or to make a quick getaway from situations they don't want to deal with.

Clue is someone who generally prefers being feared by those around them. He's very well-known in his area and has become something of a living urban legend, which he actively leans into and perpetuates as a way to keep others from getting close to him, and because he loves having such an intimidating hold on the people who live around him. It gives him a sense of control that he's not willing to let go of, and he's already put people in their place in the past for fighting back. A very small part of his reputation is a front they put on due to thanatophobia; in his eyes, if he doesn't get attached to anyone, then they won't have to suffer when they inevitably lose them. Because of this, even the few they deem "close" are still kept at an arm's length and he is very reluctant to pull down any of the walls he's put up. Clue is also a bit of a snarky asshole, sometimes without even fully realizing it. He's not above playing dirty, cheating people out of things, using his countless knives or taking advantage of others if he finds it will benefit his goals.

- Very disconnected from his emotions. Clue often doesn't know how he feels beyond "good" or "bad" and is great at masking (literally) his emotions until they become too overwhelming. Vehemently refuses therapy because they're too cool for it. (Don't be like Clue.)
- Clue has very delayed reactions to physical pain, often to the point where he won't notice injuries until accidentally coming across them several days later.
- His knife collection is second to none. Clue LOVES collecting knives of all shapes, sizes and colors. He's practically obsessed with them. Always carrying at least one knife in case of "emergencies" or if he needs something to do with his hands. The exposed metal tips of his ears are also very similar to knives, and he's not afraid to use those as an alternative.
Design Notes
- Clue is always wearing his signature mask and is never seen without it. The eyes on the mask can emote, but the smile NEVER changes.
- He can be drawn in any of the outfits seen here! The image indicates what occasion each one is for.
- Very long and lanky, though the hoodie covers a bit of it up. They do have some muscle (mostly on their arms) and are generally very athletic.

Clue and Barracuda are neighbors who met thanks to Barracuda's cat one night. Considering they weren't immediately frightened off, the two of them managed to hit it off and Barracuda was stubborn enough to become close to him. The chaos these two individuals can cause when they join forces may soon have the world quivering in its boots.
Tip functions similarly to a shoulder angel/demon due to their small stature, and often accompanies Clue by sitting on his shoulder or on his head. He often tells them about all the chaos and bloodshed he's caused at the end of the day if they weren't there with him, and they encourage and sometimes participate in all the fun.
Full disclosure: Clue has no idea who the fuck this is, really. Spanner heard about Clue's reputation and, wanting to rule the world alone in the fashion of an old cartoon villain, it then immediately decided that Clue is someone in its way who needs to be disposed of. He just thinks Spanner is a funny little robot and doesn't take it seriously.
