raised by a group of slish that reside alone in deep underwater tunnels and caves, taught only to trust those among them and to never venture far from out of the depths

even though he can look kinda scary when in those deep waters, blending into the murky darkness with only the eerie markings of eyes that show his lineage on his wings to be seen, he's actually pretty sweet! he wants to be able to make friends with other slish from outside of his group and doesn't understand why he's not allowed to. . . which is why he often does sneak out, just to observe other slish and secretly hope he gets to make some friends
