"O h, a girl just wants to have fun! In spite of her upbringing, Deirdre acts like the furthest image from a “Lady” one could imagine. She is loud, boisterous, chipper, and wild to put it mildly. She loves getting into situations that require her to use her quick wit to escape, even if it’s by the skin of her teeth. The danger simply makes it that more exhilarating. As such, she’s a thrill-seeker and something of an adrenaline junkie, always chasing the highs that come with perilous feats. She’s optimistic of successful outcomes, and she will always try and try and try before giving up crosses her mind. Sometimes, to the detriment of everyone. Her life is not necessarily expendable, but she seems to have less regard for her own wellbeing than one might expect. Perhaps born from a need to constantly be seen and accepted. It may come as a shock when she makes a self-deprecating joke with a grin on her face. However, Deir is sociable and friendly, going out of her way to try befriending even unsavory characters. And she is surprisingly honest in her speech. The only lying she does is through omission and avoidance.
Such an outlook on life may have you believe she is oblivious and airheaded, and sometimes she does act this way, but Deir is exactly the opposite; although she is prone to her fits of opportunistic behavior and following the threads that interest her most, she is a competent, perceptive, and tactical performer. She invites others to let their guards down around her so they can be that much easier to exploit in their surprise. It’s the best way she knows how to collect information, and she loves learning about anything and everything. If you dangle your secrets above her, she will want to bite them. While she can be easily distracted, she is still resourceful and will always get her task done.

She still retains her sense of self (think Druid Wild Shaping) and has all the perks that cats would normally possess (i.e. agility, limberness, better vision, etc.). However, she cannot use spells while maintaining this form. Her cuteness factor goes up by 100%, though!

Deir focuses and holds onto an object for five minutes. After five minutes have passed, she is able to recall the last thirty minutes of conversations or actions that have taken place near or with that object, whether she was present or not. She can only do this for one object at a time, three times a day.

Channeling and focusing her magic into her palms, Deir’s hands glow with a blue and yellow hue. Whenever she accurately hits the pressure points of a target, she wears down the target’s ability to deliberately lie for each successful pressure point hit. While they cannot lie and would be forced to tell the truth, they can also choose not to respond once they realize they are unable to lie. This spell lasts for ten minutes (or 5 turns) and can only be used once per day.
History
Chapter 1 - Big Dreams in a Small Body!
Deirdre Bréagán grew up with a simple, ordinary life, but she grew up always craving. It was like she'd been born with an insatiable thirst for artistry. Was she a good painter? No. Was she a good singer? Gods no. But was she a good dancer? Yes. Sari herself had blessed her little tippy-tappy feet from the moment Deir had been born. And circumstances in her life had led her to fall deeper in love with music through a percussive rhythm.
Tap dancing!
When she'd learned of her love for tap dancing, she pleaded with her parents to let her take lessons. A trained dancer would take them a little ways from home, but Vloybridge wasn't too far—just a hop, skip and a jump away! So from the sunny age of five, Deir studied under an instructor of the tap-dancing school and treated her lessons with the utmost care. As long as it did not interfere with her actual schooling, too, her parents would have nothing to complain about.
Chapter 2 - Adventure!
Aside from that, Deirdre lived her life in the way you would expect of a smalltown girl. She had friends, she spent time in Vloybridge, and she was ever studious with her schoolwork. She'd taken an interest in the theater, but aside from tap dancing, being on stage wasn't where she took most interest. She loved costume design instead! Couldn't a girl dream of doing something with that sort of knowledge?
Well, luck would have it, The Face of Many would tour in her town from time to time! The Face of Many was an eccentric sort of troupe; similar to a circus, they allowed multiple acts within their band from music, to acrobatics, to dancing. They performed shows that simply took her breath away, and ever since the first matinee viewing her family had attended, she'd been hooked. Their lighting was impeccable, their performances were impeccable, and the clothes! She could die for those clothes.
She absolutely had to speak with them.
Luckily, they were welcoming to any fans of their performances. After all, they told stories through their art, so the best way to collect more was to speak with the people. One of their members, Cameron, asked her to show him what she was made of. He had an eye for talent, naturally. Once she'd finished with her schooling, she should give them a call, he said.
Deirdre didn't join the Face of Many--not instantly. She took some time to work at a clothing and tailors shop just to perfect her costuming design. It's not as if The Face of Many didn't visit Tibert either way, giving her plenty of time to stay in touch, mainly Cameron, who frequented Tibert and Vloybridge often by being from Crathe originally. Eventually, though, Deirdre joined up with The Face of Many as their tap dancing aficionado! Cameron was always on the move, so she loved the idea of seeing more of the world. Together, they’re an act.

- Yes, she does in fact speak with an Irish accent. It has grown a slight bit more subdued over the years, but when she is excited or making more effort, it can sound stonger. She is also skilled at accents in general. A carryover from her days around the theater...?
