Howl is a melanistic animus prince. They are a timid dragon with a tendency to overthink nearly everything. They are terrified of their powers, having grown up hearing all the stories about animus dragons losing their soul and going mad after using their magic too much. He has vowed to never use his magic for anything--not even the greater good of his kingdom.
