Calixta came to life around the age of Greek God's rule over Greece. Hades saw the need for a "guard dog" to keep souls in, and keep those whose time has yet come, out from the Underworld. Thus, Hades created Calixta, who guards the rivers Styx, Acheron, Lethe, Cocytus, and Phlegethon, but resides at the center of Styx. Her manor was built upon the center of Styx, and a waypoint to Hades' palace. For if any foe wished to do Hades harm, they would have to get by the fearsome Cerberus first!

The first two centuries of Calixta's life was honing her deadly power and her deadly Chimera-esque form of a three-headed dog with a snake tail. Once Hades felt she was trained enough, she took her post, and served her master in her humanoid form. Her humanoid form was of average height, with long, dirty blond hair, and bright magenta eyes. her human form was quite curvy with wide hips, and ample bosom, hiding her actual muscular nature under softness.

She often doesn't wear clothes, or opts to wear little and flowy dresses, liking being able to move freely and be able to shift her form when necessary.

Created by Hades whim, Calixta is another part of the long pantheon of the Greek "mythology". As one of the first Demon's, Calixta experiences the power and luxury that comes with it. Her manor is decorated with antiquities, and covered in lush fabrics, and is only put to shame by the very own God's abodes. Adjacent from her home, Calixta keeps a garden filled with all sorts of flower and fruit trees that suit her fancy. A lot of the plant species cultivated there aren't found in the mortal world and only grow in the biodome that has fostered in the Underworld.

Calixta made one of her closest friends due to one of her duties as a guard dog to the population of the Underworld. Dragons are almost immortal, and due to this, when one of them passes, Calixta goes and ferries them to the Underworld personally. It is a grand gesture to such an individual close to Goddom. This is how Calixta met Arrie, the dragon. Arrie's mother had succumbed to a rare disease and as her mother's time came to a close, Calixta went to bring her to her to her new home. 

Moved by her state of grief, Calixta started a correspondence with Arrie, so her mother could stay in touch with her. Threw this, the two women began to slowly strike up a friendship. Over the course of 200 years, the two women became thick as thieves, with Calixta often taking small visits to see Arrie.
