A quiet scarftail, Zero prefers to let his actions do the talking for him in most cases. When he does speak, he can tend to be pretty blunt- telling those around him exactly what his opinion is. This is both a blessing and a curse, as it can be grating for others to hear. He's become more comfortable letting Inti do the talking as a result.
While one might think Zero would be a standoffish, unapproachable sort of partner, he's actually very gentle and sweet- always thinking about the safety and wellbeing of those who are close to him. He tends to brush off any praise aimed his way, though- saying he only ever fights for those who believe in him.

As they become closer and closer and begin their journey to save the Czylph together, an unfortunate truth about Zero's origins surfaces...
Zero was originally from a planet named Earth, created as a robot made to carry out the petty revenge of a spiteful scientist. Against all odds, he became seen as a hero as he fought alongside the very one he was meant to fulfill his creator's revenge against.
For hundreds of years, he fought for those who believed in him, and despite his resilience he couldn't escape destruction forever- eventually hurtling to Earth in a heroic sacrifice in order to end a truly evil destructive force.
Finding himself reborn on another world right off the heels of a destructive meteor impact, Zero is confused by all the lush green around him- a world very different, more organic than the one he lived in before.
The first living person he encountered was a Czylph named Inti, who ended up taking the confused new Scarftail in. Inti found Zero's story of a past in a futuristic world strange and fascinating, happily and intently listening to it, wondering why such a thing would occur...
The peace wouldn't last for long, however, as the evil that had taken hold of this world had finally found the way to Inti's hiding place thanks to the landing of the meteor near it. Thanks to Zero's sword technique and Inti's magic prowess they were eventually able to escape- on a new journey to save the Czylphs imprisoned to provide power for the tyrant behind the attack, with Zero at Inti's side to protect and aid him.
As they fight together, something like affection begins to develop between them- a strong friendship and equal respect turning into... love?! Kinda gay ngl...
Eventually, it comes to light that Zero's summoning here was the plan of the big bad- for use as a vessel for the souls of the Czylph that he had captured so he could effectively use them to power himself up... Zero was shocked and Inti was saddened and conflicted to lose so many friends... but eventually their friendship perserveres, and Inti realizes that his friends live on inside his strange, lovely boyfriend.
- The wings on his vessels are actual wings! How strange...
- The pattern on the outside of his scarves are similar to calico markings, but a little more smoke-like.
- His beads are made of a material like glass, and are somewhat see-through!
- Right ear scarf outside is white with gold trim, while the other is the same smokey calico pattern as his tail cloth.
- Is actually, surprisingly, quite the physically affectionate person.
- Both he and Inti love seafood.
- His hair is nice and Fluffy! Very soft...
I love him with all my heart.
Inti took care of Zero and filled him in on what this strange new world was, guiding him through everything from magic to why the everything was all organic.
They ended up being very compatible together, becoming fast friends as they fought together to save the world and each other. There's a lot of trust and respect between them, and certainly a lot of silly jokes and cheesy words!
