Dmitri Leonidivich Galkin

Dmitri Leonidivich Galkin is the eldest of the three Galkin brothers. His time in the military ensured that he is a partier, a drinker, and a chronic womanizer. He is a nice man, although impulsive and sometimes hot headed. He is also a little dumb, never thinking through situations fully and saying whatever comes to mind first. 

Mitya was sent off to military school at a young age. Though a bit rambunctious, he did well and enjoyed provincial service in the Urals. He crept steadily up the ranks until he got his leg crushed in an accident. He returned to his family’s home in St. Petersburg disappointed and purposeless. He agrees to follow his parents to assist his father with work in Siberia because he has no better options. 

Dmitri is a chronic flirt. Him and Nikita are charged with bringing Pyotr Alexandrovich Orlov, a political prisoner, rations and Mitya can’t help but do all he can to catch the girl next door’s attention. Valentina is newly widowed, lonely, and spends a lot of time with Orlov’s wife Svetlana, giving Dimitri plenty of chance to talk to her.
