preferred roleplay medium(s)
  • deviantArt
  • toyhouse
  • discord
  • google docs
  • other

You may initially contact me wherever you can get a hold of me. While not inflexible, I do have a strong preference for discussing in Discord and writing in Google Docs.

I am not really comfy with RPing in public spaces (forums, etc). ^^'

preferred number of rp partners
  • 1 person
  • 2-3 people
  • 5+ people
  • 10+ people

I prefer one-on-one with a patient individual, preferably an established friend. Larger groups, especially if I don't know everyone, would likely be uncomfortable for me. #anxiety

I'd say I prefer to RP with someone around my age (20's-30's) or up with similar interests. I am an adult, so not super keen on interacting with minors unless in certain community contexts.

preferred genres/subgenres
  • action
  • adventure
  • slice-of-life
  • fantasy
  • dystopian/apocalypse
  • sci-fi
  • crime/mystery
  • historical
  • horror
  • romance
  • others

I love most genres, if a bit of fantasy is blended in!

Studio Ghibli is an excellent example of themes I really enjoy: slice of life/coming-of-age, action, adventure -- combined with the supernatural, fantasy, myth, and magic.

Themes I am less interested in include:

  • romance main focus -- perfectly fine as a subplot!
  • snippets of horror can be woven in, but definitely nothing satanic or wicked.
  • iffy on canon universes, I must be familiar with it! and even then, I prefer to create original content within the universe
preferred pov
  • 1st person
  • 2nd person
  • 3rd person

I'd prefer to write in the traditional third person POV -- definitely not a fan of second person.

narrative style(s) & length
  • script
  • headcanon
  • paragraph
  • novel

I am most comfortable with HC sessions, where we just talk about our characters and how they might interact, etc. For actual roleplays I prefer lit/paragraph-style, however this is usually reserved for close friends.

As for post length: I write just enough to convey my response and give my partner something to respond to -- generally 1-3 paragraphs if I have to estimate. I think it is good to try to match each other’s length.

average posting speed
  • daily
  • weekly
  • monthly
  • depends

Each being able to reply once a week would be ideal, but life is unpredictable and it does depend on the RP.

If you’re someone who replies instantly that’s awesome, however I can't promise to reciprocate. I need time to stare blankly at the page and have an existential crisis.

preferred species
  • human
  • humanoid
  • anthro
  • feral

Depends completely on setting/etc, but I have characters of all these categories!

my character gender(s)
  • female
  • nonbinary
  • male
  • other

I am most comfortable with and enjoy female-aligned characters the most. You, of course, can play whatever you're most comfortable with. :)

character ages
  • younger than 10
  • 10-15
  • 16+
  • 35+
  • 60+
  • ageless/ancient

This section is only relevant for humans.

I normally don't have child characters, unless they're more of a NPC or it makes sense for the setting (like Pokemon). Otherwise, age doesn't matter much, as long as it makes sense.

platonic relationships
  • friends
  • family
  • companions
  • mentor-mentee
  • queerplatonic
  • other

Yay friendship! Totally open to a wide variety of dynamics, as long as they make sense for both characters. I think it's always good to discuss ideas OOC, but definitely more open to seeing what naturally develops here.

From immediate besties to slow rivals-to-friends, all relationship development speeds are cool, as long as it's fitting for their personalities and both parties are good w it.

romantic relationship planning
  • no relationships
  • discuss OOC first
  • OCs interact first
  • depends on OCs
  • surprise me

I'm not big on shipping and likely will only agree if I'm comfortable with you + the match makes sense. Totally okay if one or both develop a first-sight crush, but to move anywhere beyond that, let's discuss OOC. I'm okay with fast romantic progression if it makes sense, yet tension buildup is thumbs up imo.

relationship exclusivity
  • exclusive/canon
  • multishipping
  • AU relationships
  • depends

I am theoretically open to anything if it's mutually consentual between us.

depictions of violence
  • arguments, accidental harm
  • mild / moderate harm
  • extreme harm
  • death, murder, etc.
  • genocide, war, etc.
  • torture, mutilation
  • r*pe, SA, etc.
  • other

Generally okay with anything marked , but always discuss with me first for anything exceeding mild harm.

I prefer more wholesome stories, so the more extreme of these should rarely -- if ever -- come up explicitly.

  • I do not enjoy torturing my characters. Any violence should be important to the story.
  • I will never be okay with sexual violence depiction.
  • tbh this just depends on so many factors, so bottomline is to discuss first
depictions of intimacy
  • no sexual intimacy
  • hand-holding
  • hugging / cuddling
  • brief kissing
  • making out
  • buildup
  • smut

Platonic gestures of affection are pretty much always okay if the relationship/personalities allow it.

Same goes for romantic gestures, but nothing too detailed or suggestive. They should be mutually consentual. Ask if unsure.

I am not okay with my characters being described in sexual situations. Scenes should 'fade to black' if things move in a decidedly spicy direction.

depictions of abuse
  • verbal abuse
  • physical abuse
  • mental abuse
  • sexual abuse
  • child abuse
  • animal abuse
  • substance abuse

This does not mean I'm necessarily comfortable writing out these scenarios, highly contextual.

depictions of psychological issues
  • no issues
  • anxiety, depression
  • other disorders
  • self-harm
  • suicide

This is a serious topic that requires empathy and research to respectfully implement.

I do not like psychological issues to be a "main" plot point. It would be best if we discuss it if it significantly impacts the plot/a character.
