Background: Squid was born in a kitten breeding facility but was rescued when The Owner shut the facility down. Most of the cats from the breeder were adopted out but The Owner fell in love with Squid and decided to keep them. Initially, they were fairly shy, not talking to anyone else in the shop. Over time, however, they started to open up, especially with The Owner giving them more and more attention. Their true personality finally came out - a little narcissistic on the outside but caring for their friends (and especially The Owner) on the inside. Their best friend was Attabiy and the two tended to only talk to each other about how much better the two of them were than the rest of the cats in the cafe and gossip about the rest of the cats. Typically, whenever The Owner complimented them they bought it up - of COURSE they were beautiful, of COURSE they were perfect. It wasn't until Lobster showed up that they felt almost.. embarrassed for the first time. The way they complimented them with such fervor - they really, really meant it - they knew they had to be with them for forever.
