- A region known for its harsh windy climate. Storms from the West Sea batter the coastline leaving it rough and jagged, while cold winds sweep down from Drunham. Despite this, numerous fishing villages can be found built around the steep shores which now serve as cheap housing for migrants who moved there to make a decent living back home.
-Batternaul was the first point of contact with Lagutropis and Papilau because of its proximity to the West Sea. Selanopus continue to use this route for trade with the mainlands, monopolizing on the fact that only they can safely navigate the strip of stormy sea sectioning the islands from the rest of Vanilla.
