ASCENT
a lucky attendant of that final fated concert, the calamari inkantation broke the young octoling's preconceived notions of their age-old enemy in two. their travel on the deepsea metro and acquaintance with notable Inkopolis stars Off the Hook kept them going... but it wasn't until they finally emerged into the glorious, chaotic overworld that they learned how to live.

ACCLIMATION
as one might imagine, pigeon's emergence into the bright, busy, boisterous world of the inklings was a bit of a shock to them after the relative loneliness of the metro. they took to wearing long sleeves and pants to avoid too much stimulation, and some say they haven't removed their trademark Forge studio headphones since the day they popped aboveground.

ACCEPTANCE
this is, of course, nearly true -- but not quite. the nameless octo, feeling as though Agent was a title that sat too heavily on their shoulders, immersed themself in a series of turf war battles to further their cultural education in inkopolis. upon a chance contact with the pigeons of inkblot art academy, they knew they had found their calling. to the chagrin of their team, they spent the rest of the match crouched next to the featherballs, just staring at them. they did not reappear next match.

ACTUALITY
pidge can frequently be found with a group of their self-appointed charges - "not a flock, a kit," she'll happily inform you. she's the one who keeps feeding the damn inkopolis square pigeons by crusty sean, and she keeps a pocket of crumbs to distribute to her friends mid-battle. she knows more about pigeons than social norms, so good luck.

she's a Shooter main, likely a Slayer, but with her time investment in the Sploosh-o-Matic she's not much for competitive modes. pidge found her footing in Turf Wars and doesn't plan to give ground now, especially not with Splatfests around the corner. pidge fucking loves Splatfests. her favorite ink colors are gray, purple, and teal for obvious reasons. she was a fan of dedf1sh before exiting the Metro. she is a duitiful Off the Hook fan, but she's recently Deep Cut as well. #bigmansweep
