Hav grew up in a house isolated on the sea shore. He only really knew his parents, with an occasional sailor or two showing up every few weeks on shore or family friends visiting. His dad was the one that made money, often taking a trip to a nearby village to sell some of their fish. His mom would help Hav fish sometimes. Once Hav was old enough his mother told him of her tale, how shes a selkie and that he's one aswell and should get his coat soon. he gets his coat at a young age, a traditional seal coat he wears over his shoulder like a sash
As time passes his dad gets old and weak and unable to fish as well as he used to. Hav takes over his duties and becomes the man of the house, his mother looking after his dad. one day a chest shows up on shore, hav takes it and opens it. inside lies a large white fluffy coat somehow dry despite its watery origin. It almost feels like the coat is calling to Hav, asking him to put it on.
Unable to ignore its calling, he puts the coat on. The coat deceived him, as it was actually a cursed selkie coat. It drives Havet insane turning him into a mindless uncontrollable creature. It alters his selkie form into a freaky contorted angler fish-seal hybrid.
Havet is a tall man with a strong stature, his hair is a dark blue color and his eyes match. Before his corruption Havet wore traditional blue colored Viking clothing with his selkie coat sitting over it on one shoulder. He has two leather wrist guards and a leather belt with a pouch. He is barefoot, with only two cloth anklets on both legs. He has earrings on both ears, one cartilage piercing on his right ear and two on his left. He is covered in scars, most notably on his legs and very few on his arms. He has a large bite marks on his stomach.
After getting his cursed coat Havet is only wearing torn up shorts with a cloth belt to hold them up. His feet are covered in dirt and his nails are significantly longer. His cursed coat is large, white, fluffy, and covered in blood. His mouth is now much larger, going all the way up his cheeks much like an anglerfish. On top of his head lies an anglerfish's esca - also known as its "lure". It glows at the end, and his eye glow aswell.
He has afew tattoos on his body. On his left shoulder is Vegvisir which is the symbol of Guidance and Protection . roughly translates to something along the lines of “the wearer of this symbol will not lose his way during storms and bad weather, even if he does not know of his destination”. Gungnir is the spear of the god Odin. It is known for also always hitting the target of the attacker regardless of the attacker's skill, and Svefnthorn is used as a weapon to induce sleep in enemies.
he's a rather large and intimidating guy at first but he's really a big sweetheart, he believes in loyalty and trust most of all and takes care of those who would need it. He's kind but if u fuck with him he won't hesitate. he is also a very strong dude since he has been doing a lot of heavy lifting his whole life.
After finding the coat hes mostly a mindless creature that acts on pure instinct. Hes psychopathic and unstable. no reason, no conscience, no understanding, not even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, of good or evil, right or wrong. Hes mostly expressionless now.
