The later deuteragonist. A 21 year old cockroach mutant that works at the botanical garden lab as security by day, but is also a bounty hunter at night

Basic Info:

• Shadow was originally a human witch named Shadoux, but ended up getting mutated by a cockroach serum while kidnapped by Arblood; 
• He is the adoptive younger brother of his creator, Nassor, and adoptive older brother of Avis
• Due to the mutation, Shadow's wings are permanently damaged, so he can jump at very incredible heights to make up for the lack of flight; slightly similar to Endaria (albeit she hides her wings). This is something Arblood likes to taunt him about, calling him a "Wingless Pest"
• He is very close with Avis, although he scolds him for his vulgarity. They do bounty hunting missions at night together
• Endaria is Shadow's love interest. 
• He is still able to use magic, (the serum only affected his physical appearance) which is Cryokinesis, but his main weapon is his metal bow staff
• Nassor gave him a grimoire for his birthday, because his birth parents never gave him one. Shadow came from a family that treated him poorly outside of show business because he was the only one in his family with magic.
• His familiar is a firefly named Rigel
• He may not look like one, but he's a Hissing Cockroach. Reason being is because his magic was fighting the mutant serum, resulting in his chitin skin being blue
• Charismatic, but is also blunt, and somewhat curt. Sometimes, he comes off as a bit rude although he doesn't mean to be. He's more gentle, sweet natured, and compassionate with the people he trusts and cares about.
• Shadow is a night-time person. Not only is he more active at night but he likes to look at the stars when he's out scouting.
• His favorite flowers are red roses, mainly because they remind him of Endaria
• His wings were actually the scarf that he used to wear when he was a human, which is another reason why he can't fly
• His main inspirations are Francoeur from A Monster in Paris, Zorro the Masked Swordsman and Zen from Mystic Messenger
• His HC voice is Ororon from Genshin Impact
• He can play the guitar
• Shadow loves fruit! His favorites to eat are oranges and bananas. He also really likes peanut butter
• Like males of his species, Shadow’s main way of courtship with Endaria is emitting a hissing sound. He can also detect her pheromones due to her being a butterfly witch. After his mutation, Shadow starts seeing Endaria in a whole new light (developing his feelings for her) and starts trying to court her as his mate 
• Shadow is Demisexual.
• Shadow is Spanish
