Character summary
His purpose in life is to chase down his selected target(Vixen) and keep her running and force her through tests. His mask controls his mind, letting the humans who designed it use his body like a puppet. He is aware in there but helpless to do anything else and is trapped in his body while it's done horrible acts.
Never again. I will never be controlled.

Cairo found him once the simulations were destroyed and when he was feeling so helpless. He was thinking about ending his life when Cairo showed him he understood and saved him.
Vixen
They have an interesting realtionship...
Vixen always thought of him as her enemy because that's the role he had to play. He, on the other hand, was able to observe her and see how strong she was.

The mask is removable but he's rarely seen without it even after it doesn't control him
History
Anakin was created by a group of evil humans as part of an experiment to see how far they could force animals. The mask he wears controls his actions so he seems to be a ruthless killer, chasing Vixen for no apparent reason. He chased her for years, pushing her through pre-determined tests to see her reaction and to force her to make impossible decisions about the lives of others.
Experiments from alternate realities figured out what was happening and were going around to save everyone while looking for a specific character. One prophesized to have a "heart of gold." They freed him from the mind control, but he was left with his memories and not sure who he was.
Anakin was tortured with memories of his evil past and felt so helpless. He was thinking about ending his life when Cairo, his counter-part from an alternate reality, stopped him and comforted him. Together, they worked through their past but it's a constant process.
Personality
Persistant Desperate Strong Untrusting GrumpHe hasn't had the chance to really learn who he is. He was never in control of his own actions, so it's been an interesting experience as he learns new things about himself. Overall, he's a grump and doesn't trust easily but he is 100% loyal and dependable.
