Akane is Gentle, Kind, Honest and Considerate!! Unfortunately with her old age she becomes easily confused and forgets a lot of things- but that doesn’t stop her from being sweet to everyone around her.
In her youth Akane and her brother Elric lost their parents to wolves, Akane having witnessed that was haunted by that memory for years. She tried her best to move on although the war made that difficult to do so. Eventually she met a fox called Hiro, who soon became her boyfriend and the two were close lovers.
Akane was able to finally feel like she could move on from the grief of her parents and the two grew into fighters together under Filmore’s rule. Eventually the two agreed to having a kit, who grew up to be the skulk's medic; Mika. Things changed when Akane and Hiro were separated in a battle where Hiro was slain. Akane, desperate to try to recover his body and having a tiny bit of hope she could save him- was attacked and blinded in one eye.
After that Akane felt alone in the world, having lost the love of her life. Due to her eye injury, it didn't take long for her other to lose sight and she eventually retired to an elder as she grew with age. Lucky for Akane her kind and sweet personality made her a joy to still be around and many foxes like Shuri, Yuuki, Terry, Silv and her child Mika keep her company.
