Umbriel Adelock's Links
His little lambkin. A mage who was caught up in a bandit gang. It's good luck Umbriel found him when he did... Edwin is not one who could survive that sort of life. He hopes he'll visit his manor again.
Umbriel... the man feels familiar. He's been told he spent months as a guest in his manor, but he can't really remember much of it... still, Umbriel saved him from a bandit camp. He feels he should be grateful to him. Perhaps he's the man with the beautiful golden eyes... he'll have to see him again to be sure.
Brandrwulf is a well known hero of the time. Umbriel is honored to be spared by a fierce vampire-slayer, and to be given a chance to help maintain his investments. He doesn't visit nearly as often as he should - beyond talking about business, they really don't talk casually. It's a shame. Umbriel gets the feeling that he'd actually have some intriguing insight.
Umbriel is a powerful ancient vampire, but he seems to lack the bloodlust that most do. Or, maybe, he just knows that playing the part of a monster gets him a lot of unwanted attention. Brandrwulf himself has made it clear that if he even suspects Umbriel of drinking from or hurting an innocent, and he'll roast him with dragon's fire.
Still, he's a useful ally. His powers and life skills are valuable. And his interest seems to lie in maintaining an estate and hosting guests. He doesn't travel far from his home, save to hunt nearby bandits or hostile mages. Best to let peaceful vampires lie.
