Once a lord, Kyouya found himself kicked out of the line of power and subsequently exiled. In an effort to reclaim his former glory, he gathered followers to aid him on his mission. Kyouya ignored the advice and pleas of his confidant, continuing to his supporters to battle where they ultimately lost to forces greater than his. Now branded as a war criminal, he was tried and executed shortly after. Angered by his treatment in life, Kyouya returned from the grave now as a tengu able to cause catastrophes wherever and whenever he wanted.
