• a soldier going rogue
• currently still working for a private military firm, protecting a top secret government laboratory
• well, "scientific research center"
• suspected that they've been working on shady stuff for a while
• was somewhat proven right at some point, discovered the secret of what they are working on
• had to fight and kill a mutated scientist and was forced to cover it up
• now secretly works against the facility and helps those who try uncovering it
• mainly works with a certain journalist whom he trains in combat
• as well as a former police officer he teasingly calls "rookie"... but there's more than training going on between those two
  
•  very grumpy, always pissed, easily angered and always ready to throw a punch
•  very loyal but has his principles, fights for what he deems right
