one of his parents is the deity of pride and it shows: Wes is very narcissistic
and is especially after people who are similar / who think of themselves as great
because in his eyes there can only be one... and that's him
(he also loves killing people who talk shait about him on the news / on the internet / etc)
he is also sometimes dubbed "the Phantom" because somehow he keeps coming back
even though authorities are sure he's been found killed at least a few times already (it be like that when you have a deity parent)
