Umbra is a playful little spirit that fends off dark thoughts, especially during the night. Some he scares off, others (the nasty, obtrusive ones) he devours. Once he finds their owner is feeling better, he will happily suckle on disposed glowsticks as an alternative snack.
Aside from that, he loves to play fetch, so the owner can keep this little fella active and happy with little means. All it takes is a toy big enough to throw a shadow he can chase after. A laser pointer is worth many hours of fun, too.
