Raven Eleanor Lux

Born April 1st, 2077, Raven was seen from beyond the fourth wall as the pioneer of their generation; a mascot. Their cry was so loud that it shattered the windows of their labour room. They were left in the care of a home for troubled youth for their first ten years. Tangentially allowed access to their blood family through a portal at the back of their wardrobe.

They struggled to make friends until about grade 3 where they met Madeline, who almost completely normalised them. Or at least, halted their outbursts towards their classmates. They were completely civil with Madeline. Always have been…

Their mother was never kind, neither were their siblings. Even after they were no longer the youngest, all the other siblings were allowed to stay in the manor from their birth, but not Raven. This they only learned of until after their 10th birthday when they were finally brought back to the house. Suffering from both physical abuse from both their older and younger siblings, and emotional neglect from their mother, their only sanctuary until they were sixteen was Madeline.

The night before their 16th birthday, Raven knew that their time to prove themselves as a proper member of the mortal pantheon was running out. They had learned how to lockpick, how to hack, and how to steal. For Raven, it wasn’t hard. They made it up the tower towards a completely empty lab. They bypassed any and all safety guards, grabbed the nearest needle, looked out towards a city of lights and people, and injected whatever was inside into their arm. They passed out, with their last thought being about how they’d either live to see themselves become a god, or die trying.

They awoke in the arms of Umbra, their oldest sister, the most emotionally manipulative entity they ever knew of. Their entire youth, she had paraded that she was only doing what she thought was best, but it’s hard to trust the God of Time and Space when you know she’s stopped entire people existing because they couldn’t be bent to her will. They lived.

They stopped being cruel to everyone. With their new found power, they discovered a better way to use their time. Raven ended up climbing up the ranks of the laboratory they gained their power in. They managed to recruit Madeline, and two other friends, Hope and Faith, in order to start plotting their revenge.

When they were eighteen, a good half of their siblings died, allowing them to inherit the titles of God of Fire, and God of Warware.

By the time they were twenty-one, Raven was confident enough to do it. And in one night, they did it. It only took one night. Years of planning, gone, used.

While it freed them from the constant paranoia, and left them and their four remaining family members to do as they pleased, the fact that all it took was one night of confidence to defeat the God of Time and Space and her infinite do-overs really drilled into Raven’s brain. They, as the person who defeated Umbra, took on her powers of Time and Space, growing once again into the God of Entropy. This, somehow, tied their soul to an Old Fae, a race of beings thought to be the ancestor to Angel and Modern Fae. About the size of planets, these star eaters roam the voids of space, alien in thoughts and feelings. This Old Fae creature is known as The Everchurn. This connection to The Everchurn has infected Raven with the phenomenon known as “Meta-Knowledge”; the ability to look into other planes of reality from the comfort of one’s own home. These planes of reality are closer to planes of meta-reality, as if you could look into the world within a book as if you were a character living those words as your life. However, Raven cannot control this power, and Meta-Knowledge is infectiously radiating out of them, and has already infected Hope. In an attempt to save their two best friends and their wife from this, Raven has left not only their home planet, but their home universe, in search of some way to stop this madness that consumes them.
