Jaco "Jack" Karjala was born and raised in Turku, Finland to Mikael Karjala and Lilly (née Lundin). He went back and forth from Sweden and Finland in his youth before deciding to settle down in Helsinki.
Jaco was introduced to music at a young age by his father, who often brought him to folk festivals, which bolstered his appreciation for the arts at a young age, while his mother introduced him to the world and encouraged a young Jaco to take his childhood to explore the world as best he can.
Jaco later went on to become a successful session musician, performing in many local shows before deciding to set his goal on settling down in the beautiful city of Tokyo. After flying over and performing for a few shows, he disappeared.
By the time he was found 4 years later, having been forced to take part in cruel experiments by a mysterious syndicate with finding a way to prevent aging, he was forgotten by the world, even his own parents who had been so supportive of him somehow being alive for the entire duration, had given up hope and presumed their son to be deceased.
With only a guitar and a few dollars to his name, Jaco decided to move to Okinawa, after hearing of two former Syndicate members offering suitable housing to any victims.
