Veronica

The Allura race is a race that prides itself on perfection. Any kind of visible disability or crippling resulted in exile to uphold their image obsessed ideals and Veronica was no different. She was born on the domed Allura City-Star: Quartz, blind in her right eye, was immediately rejected at birth and given to an orphanage where she then grew up. For her entire life she knew she wasnt wanted, being constantly reminded by being bullied by fellow orphans and caretakers alike. Her due exile when she grew of age sounded more and more like a welcome escape than a shunning of her existence. Her time in the orphanage being treated the way she was, caused her to become a rather anxious and quiet individual. It did however provide her with books that told her about different places. She was rather taken by travel and nature, desperately wanting to experience different biomes and real atmospheres and took a particular interest in plants and herbology.

When her exile came however, she ended up on a domed asteroid that housed a rather large bed and breakfast turned bar.  The Lupaux owner, Crowl, was immediately infatuated with his rather rare new guest, quickly piecing together what her situation was with the fresh exile brand on her neck with his uncanny knowledge on the customs of her people. Crowl invited her to work for him so she would have somewhere to stay, and she quickly warmed up to the idea… until the agreement left her soul and memory of her name ripped from her and kept in a glass vial for Crowl to keep against her will. Quickly finding out that if she left the planet, separation from her soul would be permanent and it would kill her. Thus she was dubbed "V" and she was put to work as the bar's new pretty Allura waitress used to attract gawking customers. Her days became difficult in a much more different way as she quickly went from being a rejected child to being a rare and sought after woman. She wasnt sure which she hated more, but when she meets a Vehema that treats her like another person rather than some kind of object to win over, she starts to cling onto a bit of hope that life didn't have to be so unforgiving.
