Laurel

Laurel may look big and scary at first glance, but don't mind the spikes, fangs and claws! She's really just an overgrown sweetheart - a big, beautiful, docile, poison/fairy type flower beast that functions as a psudo-legendary in the region of Dailen due to her strong natural magics and inborn grace. She has a shrine dedicated to her and everything! Laurel doesn't let it go to her head though; far from it! She's actually quite shy, and all the attention from her human neighbors flusters her easily. This is why she always waits till there's no one about to eat the Mochi and rice balls that people leave out for her. When someone DOES spot her, she quickly hides or, if hiding isn't an option, she blushes from head to toe and covers her face with her hands. Not because she thinks this makes her invisible, though. Nope! She does it because she hates being stared at, and eye contact makes her uncomfortable. Covering her face just helps her feel better! At the same time though, Laurel's flowery mane attracts all manner of small bug Pokemon and she loves it! She has a very strong maternal instinct and tends to get attached to her visitors. If one of them doesn't show up for a couple of days she gets very concerned! The forest around her and the Pokemon that live in it mean a lot to Laurel. The only thing in the world that can arouse her ire is entering her domain with ill intent. Harm a being under her protection and nothing will stop her from exacting justice.
