Calli's scared of a lot of things. With her constant worries and self sabotage, she has a hard time focusing when she's distressed. She's confused as why anyone would want to befriend her, as she's been bullied and isolated for as long as she can remember. It's gotten into her head that she's not to befriend, and she's come to accept it. It's not unusual for her to lie (due to her compulsive lying) to get anyone out of her life, because what scares her the most is failing another friendship that hasn't even started yet.
She's not a bad person, and much less a boring one. When she lets get guard down she's quite a chatter. When it comes down to 'friendliness', she's kinda awkward. Showing appreciation for other people is embarrassing for her, she would much rather show any loyalty or affection through actions. A way for her to subconsciously show she cares about you is to worry about your health, all from a simple cold to you potentially breaking your back forever. It can be a bit annoying, but she tries her best.
Abilities: Like her species (Cat) she has good flexibility, speed and agility. She can climb trees with great skill, but since she has lived in the city her whole life she hasn't gotten to develop those abilities that much. Always lands on all fours when she falls to the ground.
Looks: Calli has no irises or pupils, her eyeballs are completely white. Under those eyes she has some dark eye bags, and a stressed out look to her face. Her fur is fluffy and white, while her inner ears and paw pads are pink. Around her neck she has a black silky bow tied to her at all times. She's very short, and has a long sleek tail. Her flesh and blood is pink.
Backstory
As a kitten Calli was put into an orphanage, located in the city district in Güneş. Her origins and biological parents haven't been known to her while growing up. The most she has gotten to know is how old she was when she was left there, what day she was left there, and that it was her biological mother who put her there. Calli stayed in the orphanage ever since, nobody ended up adopting her. Every time she got a visit as a baby, she would cry violently and thrash around. As a child she would hide and avoid answering any questions, starting to weep while hiding behind her legal guardians at the orphanage. Calli first impulse whenever meeting new people was to be in ever disbelief, but in return people didn't trust her either.
Güneş however had a state funded plan for orphans and children without any suitable caregivers at hand. At the age around 16 to 17, children without a legal caregiver could be sent to live at Ahtapot High School (Ahtapot or AHS for short.) It's a facility that doubles as a school and a home, where the staff act as both teachers and guardians. Both an orphanage and a boarding school like this is of course not healthy long term, and Calli has suffered for it in her upbringing. Being lonely and without a caregivers full attention and love takes a toll on anyone. For Calli it was very hard to change to this new location, but she started considering herself lucky once she befriended her new room mate, Ana.
