Trevor is a genetically engineered creature that was brought to life in a lab. He started off as a normal tiny worm but was transformed into a gigantic monster, way too big and powerful to be contained. Multiple attempts to kill him have been made by the lab researchers because Trevor was a failed experiment and was deemed too dangerous. Trevor was always confused by those attempts as they would always hurt him, not kill him. He was, despite what everyone thought of him, a friendly and passive creature. He didn't understand the concept of hate or danger. He didn't know why the humans were hurting them as he thought he was their friend. Eventually he was driven to madness from the constant attempts made to kill him and he destroyed the entire lab, killing all the researchers. It was then that he realized how dangerous he truly was, and what he was able to do. He felt disgusted and ashamed of himself and what he had done. Distressed and panicked, Trevor escaped the lab. He was found in the wilderness by a monster hunter who decided to spare him instead of killing him. Trevor still didn't fully understand the concept of danger and thought of the hunter as a friend, thus deciding to follow him everywhere. The hunter eventually adopted him.
