Having died a long time ago as a teenager, he stays on earth as a spirit due to the regret of taking his life from feeling lonely and forsaken. Appearing as 21 years old, he wants to be able to experience the world and meet new people.

Personality |  quiet, reserved, usually tired, overstimulated easily (uncomfortable, anxiety, overwhelmed, irritated, doesn't speak much), has difficulty speaking to strangers (seems very angry, but is actually trying his best), gets irritated and flustered easily

When surprised or scared, Shiro's cat ears and tail pop out.

Shiro has always been fond of cats. Wherever he goes, there seems to be at least a few cats following him around.

 He likes to try out new outfits from the modern world as he wasn't able to in his past life.

He seems composed and indifferent from afar, making it difficult to approach him. However, he actually wants to make friends. He attracts a lot of stray cats so he's rarely lonely.

It takes some time break down his shell, but once you do, he's very devoted to the friendship and is able to act like his true self (kind, cheerful, speaks his mind, easygoing, jokester/sarcastic).

Relationships
Shiro has met Mika when he died, but he told her that he wanted to stay on earth. Having seen his life and regrets, she allowed him to stay in order to live his life to the fullest, even as a spirit. Mika sometimes makes sure he's doing alright and takes care of him when he's feeling down.

Shiro has met Haku when Shiro was walking around the neighborhood. Haku knew he was a spirit and almost pounced on him ready to send him to the other world, but Mika stopped him and explained Shiro's situation. Afterwards, whenever they meet, Haku is very rambunctious, extroverted, and talkative - he has a fun time hanging out with Shiro since he gets to talk about all the souls he's battled and slain. Shiro usually acts like he's annoyed with him, but he actually finds his friendliness comforting.
