A man who tries to be something and someone he's not, only to find out he can be loved while still being true to himself. Fond of the streets of Mobius because he can blend in as just another face. Only child of one of the wealthiest feline families in the city.

Rodney* is having an identity crisis. It has nothing to do with the fact that he's trans. He is newly confident in his presentation after coming of age and pursuing his medical transition. He just isn't sure who his heart belongs to, or where he can call home. He's not sure anymore if he is his parents child, or a child of the city -and the people in it- that allowed him to be himself. Rodney* feels his loyalty pulled in two different directions, and he isn't sure how to pledge to one side, without losing the other forever.

As a teenager, he ran away from home following an argument. He ran into Rodney, who introduced himself, and eventually helped the other return home safely, convincing him the city was an unsafe place for anyone to be out on their own. When asked his name, he was unable to think of anything that wasn't his legal name, and responded that his name was also, in fact, Rodney. By the grace of fate's hand, he runs into Rodney some years later, and after a series of disjointed adventures comes to live with him and Sam. He later begins writing his name with an asterisk to avoid confusion, and eventually as an adult, with the help of his two wonderful supportive roommates, selects a name all his own.
