Miles

Miles is extremely friendly yet skittish. He doesn’t like when others hurt or chase him. When scared he’ll cry for his mom but no one ever helps him. Sometimes he’ll sleep at Mark’s house since he has no shelter. He has a bone to pick with people that pick on him or steal his rock. He has a dream that one day that everything will be better he’ll actually shelter as well as not stealing grub.

Before Miles was born his family was poor; they would always scavenge for grub until a demon appeared one day as his mother was pregnant with him. He had offered the Tasmanian devils anything they've ever wanted as long as a curse would be put on their baby. Blinded by fortain they had taken the offer, signing a contract and shaking the sinner's hand. Once the baby was born they named him Spike. Spike seemed like a normal little curious child until it was night. During nights the joey would cry in pain scratch on doors as he became a destructive monster destroying the rich place his parents owned. They would scold him for destroying the house as the demon would fix the house anyways. This would go on everyday until they kicked Spike out calling him a monster. The joey cried as he didn’t know what was going on. That same demon that had cursed him felt bad for the kid as he grabs a rock that resists the effects as he didn’t want to fully cure Spike. He told the joey to keep that rock with him at all times.

Cold, alone, hungry were three words to describe the poor joey as he scavenged for food, looked for shelters that were hard to find, and tried not to be prey. He found a garden run by an otter when going there he would steal and eat as many crops he could get before her son would come and chase him down trying to kill him. Spike would survive even if it would tired and scare the life out of him. He would also take from a rabbits garden which he was chased by 20+ animals he would barely escape and would stop going to that bunny’s crops. He would drink from Mori Lake as a water break and continue to find shelter or anything. Well running he bumped into a group of foxes as they tried to hit him with their bats and shoot arrows as they were blood lust. Spike got away as he ran into a town and cried. He's been thrown so much he just wanted a hug from his parents and told to be okay. He walks around the town as he found a dumpster and jumped in to hide and find anything to eat. There was nothing so he got out and was spotted by a cat. The cat put its paw out, “You okay kid? I’m not gonna hurt you, I promise.” The cat got closer to Spike as he shook and took steps back. The cat showed that he was friendly after many attempts and brought Spike to his home and kept him near the fireplace as Spike seemed a little cold. The cat whipped up a dinner for 3 as he called for a kid named Mark and Spike. Spike got up and sat at the table as he saw the cat place the food down. He saw that Mark was some kinda pirate coyote as it waves. “Hey there kid what's your name?” “Um… I think my name is Spi-” Mark cutted him off “Could I just call you hmm… Miles mate? You seem more like a Miles than a Spike.” Miles said sure as he seemed to think Mark was cool. Miles grabbed a bunch of food as the cat told him to take as much as he needed and told Miles that his name is Finn and asked where Miles’ parents were but Miles didn’t know so he shrugged. “My parents kicked me out years ago, am I a monster to them?” Finn was confused and had told him that he could take care of Miles like a guardian and from that day Miles has been a part of Finn’s lil family. Soon enough Miles would meet a bird Finch who would take him and Mark on adventures and or babysit them. Miles once ran into the forest just to see something as he bumped into a giant serpent. Miles started to sprite but got caught and was calmed by the serpent and became friends with it. The serpent's name was Velvet. When back at home he gave Mark his rock as he wanted to give him a cool present as the two played. Later that night he felt a pain he had remembered as the moon lights hit him. He screams in pain as he feels something coming out of his back, his body felt like it was burning on the inside. Miles became a monster destroying some place even attacking one of the residents as Mark and Finch were scared when Miles mindlessly ran at Mark; Mark threw the rock and the rock turned Miles back to normal as Miles passed out. When Miles woke up in the morning he didn’t know why Mark and Finch were distant from him and it made Miles sad.

Miles still lives at Seaside and is taken care of by Finn. He has visited other places like Beach Town and made friends there too. Miles keeps the rock with him for the most part but can be dumb and give it to someone. He doesn't get why some call him a monster. He hopes that one day no one will fear or hate him.

He likes Mark. Mark is a great friend to him. He has fun when Mark lets him in the house or teaches Miles how to fish. He wishes he could live with Mark but Mark promised his dad that no one would really live in the house from the fear of it being destroyed, but it’s alright since Mark made Mile’s a little house near his house.

He likes Velvet and views him as a second father since Miles doesn’t spend time with his family. He’s always being protected and given stuff like food, water, and warmth. He wishes Velvet was his father since Velvet doesn’t mind Mile’s demon form and treats him as if Miles was his own.

He loves Roger. Roger is very understanding of Miles and has given him treats and clothing. Roger can be protective of Miles but sometimes pick on him which Miles doesn’t like. When Miles met Roger the two bonded as he noticed Roger wanted free coffee; he tried to help but Cream knew it was a trick to get coffee so they never got it.

He’s scared of Rudy. Rudy and his mother have a nice garden with fresh crops. Lil starving Miles couldn’t help himself not just to take a nibble and chow down on all the crops which made Rudy hate him and has threatened the kid on multiple occasions. Rudy even chases miles as the devil cries for his mom.
