Summary

Because of their dual nature, there is heavy debate on whether they are a good or evil god and should be banned or exemplified. The need to distinguish such is because of their creation of Chaos who extinguished Order and the well-known story that they were punished by the other gods. If even the gods were against them, then shouldn't the mortals be as well? At least, that was the excuse to convince those not in power. However, rulers avoid banning worship of Dani because- even though rulers don't want to see people praying to a powerful god for freedom from their tyranny- this god is also prayed to for release from emotional or mental bonds. It ends up hard to get rid of worship without angering the powerful followers in their realm who would otherwise tolerate their rule. Though in many nations, worshipping Dani is frowned upon and blacklisted socially, and they are often ignored when the full pantheon is listed or prayed to. There is some fear that Dani has more power on the mortal plane than other gods due to their power over justice and imprisonment escape, so most try not to say anything about this god whether positive or negative in order to avoid repercussions in the off chance that they were nearby.
