Reyvaris Aldebaran Fyr

Reyvaris is the out-of-wedlock daughter of a Balmoran glassblower and the great wizard Divayth Fyr. Needless to say, Reyvaris was raised by a single parent, and Divayth himself took no part in her upbringing. Only later in her adventures does she reconnect with him, and after having proven herself in multiple quests and tasks, he has granted her a rank in House Telvanni. Reyvaris does not do much with said rank, but she does keep in contact with her father.

As a prolific necromancer, Reyvaris was almost offended when her soul was taken from her by the "first lich", Mannimarco. After stopping the Planemeld, Reyvaris has focused her energy in the study of necromancy from the physiological point of view, and her main interests lie in the poison and disease effects necromancy could have on an opponent. On the flip side, she is interested in how necromancy can be used to cure such ailments. She does not plan on dying any time soon, despite already being an elder when it comes to dunmer lifespan.

In her study of necromancy, much like her father, Reyvaris does not shy away from experimenting on herself. You will see the marks of such experiments on her often, be it splashes of amber plasm, or open wounds dripping with pus that she will use to further her studies. Hunching over alchemy stations and ancient tomes may be the reason why her posture is getting worse and worse every year.

Reyvaris' main residence is in Tel Galen on the Telvanni Coast of Vvardenfell. She has lived away and traveled so much outside of Vvardenfell that she is referred to as an outlander due to her manner of dress and speech. This does not bother her. Although loyal to Lord Vivec and the dunmer people in general, Reyvaris does not put much weight on how she is perceived by the locals.

Romantically, Reyvaris has no specific interests. She has embarked on many adventures when it comes to sex and romance with people of all genders, shapes and sizes, and she has never felt the need to settle with anybody. Such was the case when she had a summer fling with a scholar in Mournhold, and happened to have a child with them out of wedlock. Uninterested in motherhood, she left the child and his parent to their own devices with their family, the Sedarys. She would return to her son, Virvyn Sedarys, later, when he already turned 20 and had showed magical prowess himself. She would take him for adventures and teach him the ways of the dagger, the cloak, and the magic staff, and soon he would take upon himself to learn the ways of the Arcanist.

Once the Third Era dawns, Reyvaris has already reached lichdom and founded her home in the depths of Vvardenfell somewhere beneath Tel Galen on the Telvanni Coast. Her studies of undeath are further catalyzed by the appearance of the Ash Vampires. Unfortunately, during the events of the Nerevarine Prophecies and the Red Year, she finally perishes, having lived for well over a thousand years, most of it as an undead overlord.
