Introduction

Ødger

Let’s go on a journey to learn how to say goodbye.

A softbot that was left unfinished. He was devoid of any emotion, making him only a husk of humanity's creation.

Eventually, a softbot found his body on the ground seemingly lifeless. They transferred their emotional bank into Ødger's system- merging the softbots into one being. Their dna combined into one whole strand- giving the bot new life. At least... that's what Ødger likes to tell people.

Personality

Ødger presents himself as stoic sofotbot at first. In actuality, he is a very expressive softbot! To the point where others question if they're seeing the same bot.

Being a teacher at the guardian academy, Ødger likes to mess around with the trainees. He'll move around with high speed that no softbot can trace him. Though a game, Ødger observes their perservance to find him- quick to judge whether they will be a worthy guardian. He is known throughout the academy as being the most strict but the most caring.

History

Past

A decaying softbot was wandering Drandeelion in search of a heart. They silently stalked the fields, making it their home. Eventually, another softbot found them. The moment they saw each other there was an instant connection. They talked about dreams, aspirations, hopes. The decaying softbot did not understand. Yet, they stayed and listened to the softbot's ramblings. The memory the softbot remembers most fondly is the story of stardust. The softbot had snuck some out and gave some to the empty bot. The light reflected in their eyes and floated into the sky. The talkative bot knew the consequence of stealing stardust.

The fugitive then asked the bot, "I can give you a heart, my heart." Shortly after, the bot stabbed themself. Their blood pooled out of them as they tried to cusp the liquid and feed it to the bot. The bot willingly ate it. It wasn't enough. The fugitive shoved blood down the bot's throat- Losing strength to give them more. The body fell lifeless on the ground. The bot was confused, sad, happy, and relieved. Yet, they still felt empty.

The blood did not react well. It combined with the bot's blood, spiking up like thorns trying to penetrate through the tubes. Their fur began to change. Blues and red danced along the white fur and formed cellular patterns. The bot was born anew.

Job

Ødger is fond of watching the stardust fields. He is there afterhours when all the bots leave for their homes. He grazes and traces his hands over the glowy dust. Loving the way it sparkles in his eyes and shines in his fur. It's his favorite spot to practice magic. Guiding the dust into a trail that surrounds him, then filling the sky above with a beautiful shine that only he can see.
