Mukade Mukuro

Backstory

Mukade has always had a fascination with magic. Even when he was a little child, he wound run around with a blanket tied around his neck pretending to be a wizard. But it wasn't until he got a bit older that he started being more interested in the, darker side of things.

When he was around 15, he and his family took a trip to Kaito Town, in Mentensia for a vacation. While there, he did what he always did when he went to a new place and looked for a quaint little bookshop to wander in. He loved reading old books, and loved to collect different stories from all the places he's been! It was here that he found a strange book. It was a magic book, much like others he had back home, but this one was different. It was much older for one, and the spells and potions in it were much more complicated than he was used to. Always up for a good challenge, he bought to book and quickly went back to their hotel room to read it. Inside he found so many new spells, much more complex and arcane than any others, and he loved it! He wasn't sure what most of them did (he was still kind of iffy on translating it), but he knew when he got home he would want to try some of them out, if only to see if he could. But when his parents got back and saw the book, they were livid. They took the book from him and yelled at him for having it, didn't he know better than to read such horrible things?? Mukade didn't understand, he just wanted some newer, more complicated spells to do. He was punished for the rest of the trip. His parents never fully explained just why he was in trouble, and this annoyed him. How can he know not to do something if no one will tell him what not to do? So when they got back from their trip, he quickly made his way into his room and sulked. It was around this time that he started to stay in his room more, only leaving in the dead of night. He collected more and more dark magic books, without his parents knowing, and started reading them and practcing. He didn't care if they didn't want him to do so, he just wanted the challenge. But over time, he started realizing how easy the spells came to him. Something that would have taken most magicians years to practice, he got in months. This, coupled with his parent's cautious outlook on magic, made him want to become a dark magician. And not just any dark magician, the dark magician.

Eventually, his parents found out about his dark magic practicings, and told him to either stop practicing, or stop coming home. He agreed to stop, but secretly built a lab of sorts hidden away in the woods not far from his house. His parents most likely know, but they don't really care to tell him to stop. Nowadays he spends most of his time in his lab, reading new spells and searching for new books to study from. He hopes to one day become an official mage, but who knows when that will happen.
