They met in middle school, Peppermint just moved in town, while Peppermint was pretty much friends with everyone, Bones was almost always alone and only talked to Peppemint and a few other people, but mostly Peppermint; since he only had him as a friend, Peppermint was his best one.

They went to different schools after middle school but still kept contact, they didnt talk much but still hung out at times.

Bones got with Sophie, Peppermint never really liked her, and he was right! She treated Bones like shit and was abusive af. Around the same time Bones broke up with her, Peppermint dropped out of school and went to work at his dad's bakery and moved out to his own place. Bones asked him if he could be his roommate since he had nowhere to go since he hated Sophie and his parent's house was unsafe for him, Peppermint accepted since he wouldn't mind having someone in the house, it gets lonley at times.

Later they started dating, it started just with a silly date but then they kept going on more dates so now they've been together for ~4 years.

Peppermint is basically the only person Bones can trust. He enjoys just laying in Peppermint's arms and talking to him about whatever, Peppermint listens to him no matter if he actually cares about what he's talking about.

Peppermint basically does everything around the house including cooking meals, he doesn't mind doing it but sometimes asks Bones to help.

Bones draws a lot, he often makes little drawings/craft projects as gifts for Peppermint, Peppermint always loves whatever he does and thanks him 7468298465 times.

Peppermint never met Bones' parents or any of his family, but he understands since Bones says they're just horrible people.
