Personality: He is friendly and charming, but it can be frustrating to be his friend since he's so interested in other things. After fusing with the mayfly he stopped going out as much as he did to check on the mayflys, trying to provide an interesting life for the one he fused with.

Backstory
(right pic is temp pic.) Sardalya is a timid man, he likes to make friends but has a passion and interest that others feel get in the way. Sardalya is fachinated with mayflys, especially their final, winged form, that usually live for a day or two, or, less. Mayflys are tasty to wagtails and other birds in the village, but far too small to contribute to anything in the village. Thus Sardalya can sit and observe these insects, for years to come, without any intervention. He wrote down notes about them, drew sketches of them and often collected dead specimens to later pin them and store them.
Ok I'm sry im too tired to write the rest. He fuses with a mayfly because it was magic and talked to him asking for a life out in the sky for more than one day. Sardalya fused with the mayfly, giving it a long life alongside him. Sometimes his green eye cries out of joy, which is the mayfly in him being thankful for it's experiences and long life.
