System (Dave)

Dave used to be Soda before he was split into two, the other half going to make Julie. Though it's not the older version of Soda that currently exists, it's a younger version who took the name to try to live up to the older version but failed. Dave is kind but he is also naive, similar to Julie. Dave is one of the more complex people in the system, taking on a very unique role which is absorbing trauma for other members so they don't have to suffer. He will put himself in harms way to ensure that someone else in the system doesn't have to. Dave doesn't see his own potential or the good things about himself. He usually assumes that people don't like him no matter what he does. Being the artist of the system, he doesn't view his work as anything other than bad. It is extremely hard to convince him otherwise because it's something that he has to realise himself. He's slowly working on it and becoming better at it though.

Dave is also the twin of Julie, being the second person to exist in the system. His purpose was to protect Julie from harm by tanking it all, he made to make sure that Julie remained kind and loving even if it meant at the cost of himself. Being twins, Dave is also as kind and loving as Julie but due to everything he has been through, he has more of a pessimestic view at times. He harbours no resentment towards others in the system as he views his suffering as something that was necessary to keep everyone safe. Throughout the majority of the time of his existence, he has consistently sacrificed himself for others, both in person and in the system. He is truly selfless. His view is that he would rather one person suffer for everyone else instead of everyone suffering collectively so he took on that role to become that person. He doesn't regret his decision despite everything he has been put through.

Dave will later combine with Julie which makes him feel whole.
