SUMMARY

born and raised in silver city to loving parents with her twin brother oliver. she's closer to her mother and her brother is closer to their father. one day their mother is killed in a car accident. around the same time, cooper discovers she has superpowers, but that she has a different one each night depending on the phase of the moon. though she has trouble understanding and figuring out these abilities due to the short amount of time she has each one and the length of time before she's able to access it again, she does her absolute best and is very enthusiastic about being a hero, even if she makes a mess of it sometimes.

her brother oliver starts resent her after their mother dies. outwardly he takes it better than she does, even if he's suffering just as much inside, so their dad pays more attention to her afterward. they become a lot closer, but oliver was closer to their dad before this. he becomes her own personal villain (literally - a supervillain).

she and oliver both have very distant werewolf ancestry (dad's side) and alien ancestry (mom's side). in cooper's case, additional radiation from living around the source activated latent or otherwise dormant abilities.
