Her name means "succulent" in Chinese. Her nickname is Rou, which is pronounced "row". Her last name is Ephesus.

She was named for her succulent shine. She's both a gardener and a florist, selling her flowers and plants at good prices depending on what types they are.

Youtan Poluo -- a flower that blooms once every 3000 years. This has sparked the belief that the flower is Buddha's reincarnation. Ròuzhì is a Buddhist and a gardener who experienced this flower blooming in her garden; she hadn't even known that the seeds where in her garden when they sprouted by her large tree. As soon as she saw the tiny white beads upon silky fronds, Ròuzhì thought of herself to be blessed.

Because of her belief, the Youtan Poluo has always been her favorite flower (although it doesn't look like a flower) because of their delicate appearance and strange blooming times. Once it bloomed in her garden, it only strengthened her favoritism over this remarkable plant.

Rouzhi is happy with her mate, her three sons, and her three daughters.
