Durn was always a kind soul. He is full of dad jokes and flirty remarks, always trying to make others feel at home when he's around.

Durn was born into the Strun family alongside his brother. While Durn's brother took the training the pair received well, Durn did not. He struggled, especially when it came to putting down other sentient species. This caused his brother to be chosen as heir of the clan rather than him, but he didn't really mind all that much. Once his brother took over the clan, Durn began his duties as peacekeeper amongst the surrounding groups, mostly those who were not granthraxes. It wasn't long before Britvulom was brought to their home. At first she was to wed Durn, but after his brother threw a fit and demanded her be his, Durn didn't deny. While he thought her beautiful, he had no interest in taking someone who didn't even want to be there. Durn's brother, on the other hand, made quick work of continuing the family line. Durn began slacking in his duties as a warning to what could become if the peace was not kept in ernest, but that did little but anger his brother. It wasn't long before Durn left, abandoning his family and the one thrax who may have stood by his side. Many years passed since then, and Durn had decided to return to the island he once called home. It was now ruled by his nephew in the same state as when Durn had left, if not worse. After collecting some information on the whereabouts of Brit and her son and daughter, Durn left once more, seeking out this land known as Arilyan and his sister-in-law and her cubs.
